Dubai-based Emirates has been named the fourth busiest airline in the world in terms of total scheduled passenger kilometres flown last year having carried a total of 289 million passengers in 2017. EMIRATES is the first airline in the world to commercially launch an in-flight mobile telephone service affording even greater convenience to passengers wishing to stay connected while travelling.
