With Gulf Print and Pack 2022 kicking off in Dubai from May 24 to 26, Xerox Emirates will hold live demonstrations of its flagship digital production engines and 3D Print applications.

The main showcase will be the Xerox Iridesse Production Press with the Xerox HD EA Fluorescent Pink Dry Ink as the latest colour on display. It is demonstrated with CMYK and other metallics for some truly vibrant palettes alongside the Xerox Versant 280 Press.

Both presses are displayed with the latest High Capacity XLS Vacuum Feeder that allows customers to advance core capabilities with every job, boosting productivity and functionality for extra‐long sheets (XLS).

Industry standout
The Xerox Iridesse Production Press has become an industry standout with its award-winning Colour FLX Technology that does more with 4, 5, and 6 colours on a page than any other device on the market. It is the only digital press that can print CMYK+ dry inks in a single pass, enabling the creation of iridescent colours and embellishments never seen before in digitally printed materials.

Combined with state-of-the-art automation, a wide range of productivity enhancing features, finishing options and image quality that raises the bar on what digital presses can achieve, it has received stellar industry and customer reviews since its launch.

With specialty printing as one of the fastest growing digital segments, Xerox will announce the new fluorescent pink colour as part of their range of adaptive CMYK+ dry inks and is a true UV-light-activated fluorescent ink.

New possibilities
Such innovations are creating new possibilities and increased margins for Xerox customers. The Xerox ‘Beyond CMYK strategy’ is all about enabling commercial printers to deliver eye-catching colours and embellishments like glittering golds, stunning silvers, and now vibrant pinks, to close the ever decreasing gap between offset printing and digital.

Xerox Emirates will also showcase 3D Printed samples produced on the ElemX 3D printer which has its much-expected launch in the market this quarter. ElemX is a ground-breaking 3D metal printer that’s quicker and safer to use in order to address supply chain challenges for transportation, aerospace, defence and industrial manufacturing.

The printer is easily deployed, requiring no special facility modifications for operation. Unlike many 3D printing technologies, the ElemX requires minimal post-processing and therefore provides a faster time-to-part.

Reducing costs
Businesses can now produce the parts they need, when needed, where needed, reducing inventory and shipping costs. 3D printing strengthens supply chains by enabling rapid, on-demand manufacturing to proactively react to market volatility and combat supply chain disruptions.

Customers will also have the opportunity to interact with experts from leading technologies like XMPie Personalised Communication Software and Xerox FreeFlow Core. XMPie technology explores data-driven print and variable data printing, web to print solutions and multichannel campaign management tools in a single, scalable platform that engages audiences with personalised communications across print and digital media touchpoints.

Xerox FreeFlow Core is a browser-based solution that intelligently automates and integrates the processing of print jobs, from file preparation to final production, for a touchless workflow that operates easily, adapts effortlessly, scales quickly and delivers consistently. The simple drag-and-drop interface means customers don’t need to have a software engineering degree to create workflows.

Simon Howells, General Manager, Xerox Emirates, said: “As a long-standing trusted source for innovation and print in the UAE, Xerox Emirates is showcasing our latest digital offerings at Gulf Print and Pack 2022. Providing a platform to furthering discussions around print innovation, Gulf Print & Pack 2022 is the Middle East and North Africa’s only dedicated commercial print and package trade show. Bringing exhibitors from over 20 countries, the trade show is to feature the latest smart technology, materials and digital equipment from leading manufacturers.
