BenQ unveils GenNext console gaming monitors

With intelligent optimization and audio, the 4K EW3280U has arrived in the Middle East to change the landscape of gaming monitors.
The flagship 32-inch EW3280U includes proprietary eye-care for viewer comfort and protection, as well as HDRi intelligence and world-class speakers. BenQ’s EW3280U features proprietary HDRi intelligent technology that improves colour performance, detail contrast, and image clarity.
A built-in sensor detects ambient light levels and simultaneously assesses and adjusts on-screen images. This instant refinement delivers an unrivalled experience.
Additionally, HDR10 compatibility supports flawless high dynamic range performance, so viewers experience every detail of original content and gamers have an edge over their enemies with better visibility.
With the launch of PS5 closing in, the aim is to elevate the next-gen console gaming experience, and provide gamers with a display that will enable them to enjoy the immersive gameplay, said the company in a statement.
Now available for a retail price of AED 2799, BenQ’s EW3280U utilizes integrated 2.1 channel sound. The innovative, built-in treVolo speaker system incorporates a subwoofer for a rich sound that surpasses many of the cumbersome external speakers that audiophiles turn to for quality audio.
The EW3280U also includes a Digital Sound Processor (DSP) chip to deliver elite, customizable audio. Users can select from multiple sound modes to go with the type of content they are consuming.

Another debut feature in the EW3280U and the other devices in the Entertainment series is ePaper mode which simulates physical and e-books with ideal contrast, brightness, and colour temperature for comfortable reading. An Eye Reminder feature lets users set alerts to take screen breaks.
"Additionally, there’s a Colour Weakness mode that compensates red and green on-screen colours for most types of colour blindness. Designed as the best streaming and gaming monitor, gamers will enjoy FreeSync for seamless play with the EW3280U," stated Bakshi.
