Al Masaood’s Projects & Engineering Services Division (PESD) said it is highlighting the group's technology-driven energy solutions at the ongoing Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec). This is the 21st consecutive year of its participation.

Taking place under the patronage of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, the event is set to gather over 110,000 regional and international participants over the next four days.

One of Adipec’s major partners and exhibitors, PESD will display its latest technology solutions related to energy sector, which have been designed in collaboration with internationally recognized engineering and service providers.

Al Masaood PESD, which is taking part in the expo for the 21st consecutive year, will run two exhibition stands at the venue.

The division will showcase its latest environment-friendly compressor the ‘High-Speed Oil-Free Integrated Motor-Compressor’ (HOFIM) which is used to eliminate dry gas seals, lube oil system, gearbox damaging the machine, and other components.

The emission-free and light-weight HOFIM has low carbon footprint.

The product, which is suitable for remote control and unmanned operations, is highly cost efficient because it requires minimum service and maintenance.

It can be used in several applications such as gas storage and pipeline, untreated wellhead gas, liquefied natural gas (LNG), hydrogen, and carbon dioxide, to name a few.

PESD is also set to showcase its advanced solution for pumps that are fitted with KSB Germany’s ‘KSB Guard.’ The easy-to-install and reliable product regularly monitors the status of in-situ pump to immediately report deviations from the pre-set parameters. Such reports enable urgent action to prevent substantial damage to the pump, thus leading to reduced repair costs.
