Saudi-based Red Sea International (RSI) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Rental Solutions Services (RSS) to leverage their capabilities to provide clients throughout the GCC with unparalleled services and products in the modular buildings, power and cooling segments of the rentals market.

With offices in the UAE, Oman and Kuwait, RSI is the largest manufacturer of modular buildings in the GCC with over 40 years' experience in the oil and gas, affordable housing and remote buildings sector providing both long-term and short term rental solutions to its clients; while RSS is a leading provider of temporary generator and cooling systems in the GCC.

The combined power, cooling and modular building assets base will create the largest pool of integrated resources available in the GCC region to provide clients with a comprehensive solution for any remote or temporary "off the grid" requirements, said the company in a statement.

With this strategic alliance, RSI and RSS will provide clients with fully functional modular accommodation with power, cooling, wastewater processing and water supply infrastructure at any remote location, be it for long term camp requirements or short term events, it added.

On the strategic tieup, William Ali Mills, the chief executive of RSI, pointed out that the market today lacked a full service capability in this important sector.

"Clients today need the ability to source all their requirements under one roof whereby they are assured that the difficulties of operating in a remote location or under tight timelines can be achieved economically and efficiently," he noted.

"We are pleased to have reached an agreement with RSS, a leading player in the GCC region for remote power and cooling solutions, and are confident that we can jointly serve the market through this alliance," stated Mills.

"Saudi Arabia will form an important part of the growth strategy, with growing activity in concerts, sporting and entertainment events all of which require a fast track solution for temporary buildings and power set up," he added.-TradeArabia News Service
