Dubai-based boutique real estate firm Sweid & Sweid has partnered with global hospitality brand Banyan Tree to build the region's first Banyan Tree Residences project in Dubai at an estimated cost of Dh600 million ($163 million).

Located on a large island site where DMCC, the Montgomerie Golf Course, The Emirates Golf Course and Emirates Hills intersect on Al Telal Street, the new residential tower will boast tremendous views in all directions.

A first-of-its-kind project, Banyan Tree Residences will consist of a 32-storey single tower occupying 10 per cent of total plot area, while 75 per cent space will be dedicated to resort-style amenities and facilities including a signature clubhouse and spa.

Its 244 residences will include one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom apartments, duplex apartments with private outdoor gardens, and three full-floor penthouses crowning the building, said the Dubai real estate firm.

The penthouses offer large terraces featuring cantilevered swimming pools overlooking the spectacular views, it stated.

Banyan Tree Residences, Hillside Dubai, is unique as a single tower set within a gated community stretching over 110,000 sq ft. The residents-only Clubhouse & Spa includes a state-of-the-art fitness centre, an authentic Banyan Tree spa experience, saunas, a squash court, and an expansive indoor children’s play area.

Outdoors, the residents will enjoy a 31-m resort-style swimming pool, a children’s pool, a children’s play area, and a poolside café, all set along the extensive outdoor green spaces with lush landscaping.

Concierge and 24-hour security will be provided, with Banyan Tree’s management ensuring their internationally-renowned levels of service and hospitality are offered to the residents, it stated.

Interior finishes include 3.2m high ceilings, Grohe fixtures and Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware. Custom kitchens feature quartz and Zebrano wood detailing with Siemens and Smeg stainless steel appliances.

A leading international operator and developer of premium resorts, hotels, residences and spas, The Banyan Tree Group said on completion in the third quarter of 2019, the project will become one of Dubai’s most desirable addresses.

The official sales launch is planned for the first quarter of 2018, in conjunction with the completion of the on-site sales center and show apartment, said the statement.

Ho Kwon Ping, the executive chairman, pointed out that this was Banyan Tree Holdings' first foray into the emerging branded residence space in the Middle East.

"Our offering is truly unique in that we are giving our end-users the experience of a luxury retreat that they would expect from our hotels and resorts, however, there is no end to the holiday. This will be their home," he stated.

Maher Sweid, the managing partner of Sweid & Sweid, said: "With over two years in design and development, we are excited to finally announce this landmark project and our partnership with Banyan Tree."

"In line with our corporate philosophy underpinned by the commitment to delivery, construction commenced far ahead of the public sales launch, which will give assurance to buyers about the timely delivery of the project. Interested buyers can go online and register to be the first to be invited to the launch of the sales center," he added.

As an introductory offer, buyers will receive membership to the Banyan Tree Sanctuary Club, which entitles them to privileged access to over 40 resorts and hotels, more than 60 spas, 70 retail galleries and 3 golf courses worldwide, said a statement.

Owners will also get to choose their preferred global escape while enjoying an array of discounts and priority benefits, including invitations to Banyan Tree Community organised events, as well as free stays at pre-opening resorts and hotels through the Group’s Xperential Guest Programme.

Additionally, owners will also get access to the Banyan Tree Private Collection, an exclusive destination club with a portfolio of villas in stunning locations around the world, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
